Air freight means airline cargo fees, a mandatory zinc-lined hermetically sealed coffin, handling charges at both airports — plus mortuary transport to the departure airport and from the arrival airport. Road transport with our own fleet is one continuous journey with one fixed price. On the UK–Romania route, our published all-in range is £2,400–£3,600 (≈ €2,800–€4,200); air arrangements typically come out higher once every component is added.
Timing: paperwork sets the pace, not the vehicle
The journey itself is rarely the bottleneck — documents are. Once released, road reaches Romania in 48–72 hours and most of Europe within one to three days; flights depend on cargo space and schedules, and still need ground transport at both ends. In practice, door-to-door times are often surprisingly similar — with road offering the more predictable arrival window.
Continuity: one vehicle versus several handovers
By road, your loved one travels only in our own vehicles, driven by our own people, from collection to handover — with confirmations along the way. By air, the journey passes through several hands: ground carrier, cargo terminal, airline, arrival terminal, receiving carrier.
