Where we come from

Our base is Lugoj, in western Romania — directly on the road corridor where most of Europe's repatriation routes cross the border. Over more than fifteen years, our team has become one of the region's most experienced in international funeral transport: 517+ families helped, routes driven across some 50 countries, and a fleet of internationally certified Mercedes mortuary vehicles that is entirely our own. The service is operated by VT CALL BALKAN S.R.L. (Lugoj, Romania).

Repatriation Care brings that experience to families in the United Kingdom and Ireland — the communities we have served the longest. The UK-to-Romania corridor is the route our vehicles know best, and the same fleet, the same team and the same standards now serve every European destination, in both directions.

What we believe a repatriation should be

• Transparent — prices published, quotes fixed and final. You should never discover a cost after the journey has begun.
• Complete — every document, both countries, handled by us. A grieving family should not be doing administration.
• Personal — a person answers the phone at 3am, and the same named people stay with your case until the handover.
• Dignified — our own vehicles, our own drivers, and confirmations at every stage of the journey, because trust is built with information.

Why “own fleet” matters more than it sounds

The journey is never subcontracted. From collection in the UK to the handover at the destination, your loved one travels only in our own vehicles, driven by our own people — never third parties. That is what lets us give a fixed price and keep it — and what lets us tell you, at any moment, exactly where your loved one is.
